Qualifications

• State license of the state applying to (if applicable) is required.
• +4 state licenses highly preferred.
• PTCB, IMZ, CPR certifications are noted as favorable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and sensitivity to stigma associated with PLWH.
• Support the mission and core values by providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Adhere to the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual and the Scope of Practice for a Level II Technician.

Job description

A Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual, in addition to the specifics of the job classification below.

A Pharmacy Technician - SRT enhances the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the "stigma" of PLWH and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients' needs to maintain anonymity and privacy.
