The role requires 1 year of pharmacy experience, ExCPT or PTCB certification, and a state license, along with a strong focus on patient education and infection-control practices.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ExCPT or PTCB certification and state pharmacist license is required.
• Valid state driver''s license is required.
• 1 year of experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion pharmacy (required)

Aufgaben

• Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions
• Reviewing and recording patient information with their prescription in compliance with guidelines
• Assists in the education and precepting of new pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, performance improvement activities
• Providing instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicine
• Protecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policies
• Other duties as assigned
