Job summary

RiteChoice Pharmacy is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our health center pharmacy team in Carlisle. You will access patient EMRs and collaborate with physicians and behavioral health specialists to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities include prescription filling, insurance processing, inventory control, and customer service while adhering to pharmacy procedures and regulatory standards. Experience with 340B is a plus; training provided.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential, required.
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience; experience with the 340B program is desirable
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with RX30 or ability to quickly learn new pharmacy software
Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions and prepare medications under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
Type patient scripts with precision, ensuring correct dosage and labeling.
Enter new patient information and update demographic details accurately.
Process patient refill requests and conduct comprehensive profile reviews.
Process prescriptions with insurance companies, resolving coverage issues promptly.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking, and removal of outdated medications.
Collect and record patient co-pays, maintaining financial accuracy.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety within the pharmacy.
