Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent.
• Graduation from an ASHP-accredited or PTCB-recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred.
• Licensure as Pharmacy Technician by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Preferred: PTCB or NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver medication to Pyxis.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of medications and supplies via cycle counts and Pyxis inspections with electronic documentation.
• Assess the need for and repackaging of oral solid and liquid medications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
