Job Summary

Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of duties in delivering pharmaceutical care to patients in ambulatory pharmacies. Ensures departmental standards such as prescription turnaround times and medication dispensing accuracy are met. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older, with no felony convictions (per Ohio Revised Code 4729.42)
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Maintains registration throughout employment
• Willing and able to travel to satellite locations with reliable transportation
• Effective communication skills with diverse backgrounds

Preferred

• Current/active Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT)
• At least 6 months of experience in retail or hospital-based ambulatory pharmacy
