Job Summary

Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs various duties in delivering pharmaceutical care in ambulatory pharmacies. Meets departmental standards for prescription turnaround times and medication accuracy. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older with no felony convictions (per Ohio Revised Code 4729.42)
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Maintains registration during employment
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to satellite locations
• Effective communication with diverse backgrounds

Preferred:

• Current/active Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT)
• At least 6 months of experience in retail or ambulatory pharmacy
