Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician to prepare and sell medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, and provide bedside delivery services. This position reports to the Manager Retail Pharmacy Operations.

Open hours are Monday through Friday 7AM–6PM and Saturday 9AM–3PM, with responsibilities including inventory management, dispensing area maintenance, and stock replenishment, alongside outpatient and ambulatory care workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy experience required.
• 3 years Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
• 1 year Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
• 1 year Epic Willow Ambulatory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ordering and maintenance of an inventory to service the needs of the client and the patients.
• Participate in cycle counting process and the resolution of any discrepancies.
• Assist in the maintenance of all medication storage areas.
• Assist in the receiving and placement of incoming stock to medication storage areas.
• Replenish dispensing areas with medication stock and supplies.
• Replenish automation equipment with medication stock and supplies.

The Retail Pharmacy Technician prepares and sells medications, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, as well as provides bedside delivery services. This position fulfills a number of additional responsibilities, and reports directly to the Manager Retail Pharmacy Operations.

Pharmacy is open M-F 7AM-6PM, Saturday 9AM-3PM.
