Job summary

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company, through Express Scripts by Evernorth Health Services, is hiring pharmacy technicians for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs, 2:30pm-1am EST). You will prepare prescription orders with accuracy, assist pharmacists, and help maintain equipment and the work area.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Accurately and responsibly prepare prescription orders with additional duties to include but not limited to Changing prescription labels, Cleaning printers, Repacking and restocking medications/materials, Preparation of drugs for dispensing Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and packed.
• Clean and help maintain equipment and work area.
• Assigned additional tasks as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent working experience.
• Pharmacy Technician license required in the state of Ohio.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy, strong attention to detail with good organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions.
• Ability and desire to assist team members.
• PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for lengthy periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
• Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms.
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
• Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.
• If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
