Pharmacy Technician - Remote, PA and AZ - Accredo Specialty Pharmacy

Join us as a Pharmacy Technician at Accredo Specialty Pharmacy. This role offers the flexibility of working from home and involves assisting patients in receiving life-sustaining medications for managing rare and chronic diseases.

Training Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST for 6 weeks. Post-training, shifts are 8 hours between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday.

Role Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to welcome patients, gather demographics, and coordinate first shipments.
• Create requests and contact providers for prescription requests.
• Perform data entry and ensure prescriptions are accurately entered into the system.
• Investigate issues with pharmacists, doctors, and healthcare providers.
• Guide patients on medication coverage.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service experience; phone experience is a plus
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification as per state laws
• Strong computer and data entry skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
• Reliable high-speed internet with wired Ethernet connection
• Private, quiet workspace at home
