Job summary

Odessa Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech PRN to assist under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will compound and dispense prescriptions, and may handle related clerical duties while maintaining stock and inventory records.

The role requires Texas Pharmacy Technician Certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and readiness to work variable 8-hour shifts from 7am to 10pm with occasional overnight coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• No experience necessary.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions.
• May be expected to perform related clerical duties.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
