Qualifications

• Education: enroll in ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program within 90 days of hire; complete at least 25% of didactic coursework; complete program within 2 years.
• Licenses/Certifications: Illinois Pharmacy Technician License; CPhT validated by PTCB or NH certification within 2 years of hire.
• Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Stock supplies and merchandise; keep shelves organized.
• Bill and fill prescriptions accurately.
• Answer telephone calls and assist customers.
• Stand, lift and walk continually while performing duties.
