Job summary

VytlOne in Brooklyn, NY seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, customer-focused role in our network of clinic-based pharmacies. You will greet customers, take prescription orders, operate the cash register, and help keep the pharmacy organized.

The position offers an hourly pay of $24–$28, healthcare benefits, and a 401(k) plan with company match. A PTCB certification and retail pharmacy experience are required, with VytlOne supporting certification advancement.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification or ability to obtain within 6 months (VytlOne will assist).

Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work within one of VytlOne's network of managed clinic-based pharmacies in Borough Park Brooklyn. Schedule is as follows

• Monday 9am-530pm
• Tuesday 9am-530pm
• Wednesday 1030am-800pm
• Thursday 1100am-800pm
• Friday 900am-400pm
• Every other Sunday 10am-6pm, with Wednesday off the day you work Sunday

The estimated compensation for this role is $24-28/ hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take prescription orders
• Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
• Answer the phone
• Input customer information into the computer system
• Ability to work rotating schedule between the hours of 8am-8pm, must be open to rotating shifts

Qualifications

• Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (VytlOne will assist)
• Excellent data entry skills, must be fast and accurate with attention to detail
• Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
• 2+ years retail pharmacy experience
• Computer experience mandatory
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
