Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Grand Junction, CO to support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications in compliance with federal and state regulations. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient service, and maintaining orderly records.

You will interact with customers, answer questions, and direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist, while restocking supplies and ensuring a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18+ depending on location requirements)
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and enter data under pharmacist supervision
