Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare prescriptions and stock inventory under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge. You will enter data into the computer system and assist with care plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team.

The role requires a high school diploma, pharmacy technician training or on-the-job experience, and willingness to complete required training. Certification is preferred but not required; travel is minimal.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training course, or a minimum of 1 year of on-the-job training.
• National certification preferred, but not required.
• State licensing, as required.
• Must complete all in-service and external training requirements.
• Commitment to the mission of Red Rock BHS.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements
• Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist
• Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security
• Helps maintain an orderly, clean environment, including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies
• Enters data in computer system; records all prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements
• Under direction of pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal
• Performs general clerical duties for the department
• Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
• Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn agency policy, rules, regulations, and procedures; participates in on-going in-service training as well as external training
• Supports and assists with the facilitation of Care Plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team
• Performs other duties as required
