Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a pharmacy technician to support the Pharmacist in Charge. You will prepare prescriptions, manage stock, enter data, and assist with care plans for consumers.

The role involves maintaining inventory, processing requisitions, and performing routine clerical duties to ensure efficient pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of a pharmacy tech training course or equivalent experience, and is committed to ongoing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training course or at least 1 year of on‑the‑job training.
• National certification is preferred but not required.
• State licensing requirements must be met as applicable.
• Must complete all in‑service and external training requirements.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements.
• Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals; ensures security.
• Enters data in computer system; records prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements.
• Removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock for return or disposal.
• Performs general clerical duties for the department.
• Supports care plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Pharmacy technician training course or on-the-job training

State licensing, as required
