Job summary

Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in Charge with preparing prescriptions and maintaining inventory. Responsibilities include data entry, stocking, and supporting care plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health Team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completed pharmacy technician training or 1 year of on-the-job training, and licensing as required. National certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training course or 1 year on-the-job training.
• National certification preferred but not required.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements.
• Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with guidance from the pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals; ensures security.
• Maintains an orderly, clean pharmacy environment and stock.
