Aufgaben

• Assist pharmacists with preparation and processing of prescriptions.
• Accurately locate, count, package, and label medications for verification.
• Enter patient information and medication orders into the pharmacy system.
• Assist with daily prescription filling and cycle filling.
• Answer and screen incoming calls and direct pharmacist questions.
• Communicate professionally with patients, facilities, prescribers, and reps.
• Assist with obtaining prescription refill authorizations by phone or fax.
• Prepare prescription labels, MARs, delivery lists, and other docs.
• Utilize pharmacy software, technology, and packaging equipment.
• Assist with inventory management including ordering, receiving, stocking.
• Check in incoming orders and ensure products are stocked.
• Monitor inventory and remove expired medications.
• Assist with medication returns and inventory counts.
• Maintain contingency medication supplies.
• Help ensure owed medications are filled and resolved promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and team members.
• Provide friendly, professional service to patients and partners.
