Job summary

CHI Health Lakeside in West Omaha is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who will support pharmacists with accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and a patient-focused demeanor to ensure safe medication practices and excellent patient care. You will assist patients with inquiries, operate automated delivery systems, and participate in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in NE required upon hire.
• Certification required within 12 months of license activation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, distributes and delivers medications in accordance with CSH policies and procedures, The Joint Commission requirements, and Department of Health regulations.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks in support of the day to day operations of the department.
• Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels
• Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices.
• Participates in department quality assurance programs and maintains appropriate quality assurance documentation.
• Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation including all regulatory and compliance requirements with required training and documentation. This may include preparation and handling of hazardous / chemotherapy medication if applicable.

Pharmacy Technician License (NE)

Pharmacy Tech Certification within 1 year from license activation date
