AdaptHealth LLC is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering accurate, high-quality patient care. You will work closely with pharmacists to prepare medications, assist patients, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and pharmacy technician certification; one year of experience is preferred. The role includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification is required in practicing state(s).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Receive, process, and prepare prescription orders (counting, measuring, labeling, mixing).
• Verify prescription and patient information for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records.
• Assist patients with questions and pricing, and direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of medications in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Manage prescription intake via phone, electronic systems, and in-person requests.
• Support inventory management including ordering, receiving, and stocking.
