Qualifications

• Experience as a pharmacy technician is required.
• Experience with automated dispensing machines preferred.
• Technician certification preferred (PTCB).
• A high school diploma or equivalency is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications for delivery under pharmacist supervision.
• Operates PARx and Pyxis systems for dispensing and inventory.
• Maintains departmental records and ensures expiration dating.
• Assists in 340B program compliance.
• Supports sterile IV room cleaning and compliance.
• Performs monthly nursing unit inspections.
• Interacts with departments to facilitate medication distribution and pharmacy processes.
