Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and safely on site at our Indiana facilities.

The role involves using Epic for medication processing, Omnicell for dispensing, and SOP-compliant repackaging of non-sterile meds. A high school diploma and pharmacy certification/licensing requirements apply, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification must be obtained within 5 years of starting.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and safely.
• Answer and route phone calls and manage the window.
• Use Epic for processing med messages and dispense tracking.
• Operate Omnicell systems for automated dispensing and related tasks.
• Compound and repack non-sterile medications per USP standards.
• Document prior to admission medications in Epic.
• Maintain cleanroom processes and proper handling of controlled substances.
