Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution. The CPT delivers medications to nurses, patients, medication rooms, and automated dispensing machines, supporting accurate dispensing and documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, pharmacy technician registration, and a certification (PTCB/NHA) with a plan to obtain within required timelines.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in college is preferred.
• Must obtain and sustain appropriate pharmacy technician registration with the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Registration within 30 days of hire if not already obtained.
• Must pass a certification exam within 240 days from orientation/transfer date or be certified through PTCB/NHA. Initial exam within first 90 days from orientation/transfer date.

Mansioni

• Package medications and refill automated dispensing systems on nursing units and in the department.
• Fill medication orders accurately and maintain records (paper and computer).
• Use technology to prepare and distribute medications.
• Stock patient care areas and properly charge for items supplied.
• Identify outdated or recalled items and return them.
• Maintain logs and documentation accurately.
