Job summary

Martin's Point Health Care is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in fulfilling prescription orders from start to finish while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include creating patient profiles, handling data entry and inventory, and answering questions about drug coverage and formulary listings. Must hold an active Maine Pharmacy Technician license and have strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Maine Pharmacy Technician license required before Martin's Point employment.
• National Pharmacy Certification preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred; medical setting experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains accurate patient profiles for prescription orders and insurance adjudication.
• Balances quality and efficiency in pharmacy tasks to support patient outcomes and team goals.
• Answers routine inquiries related to Health Plan drug coverage, prices, and formulary listings.
• Uses discretion and judgment in dealing with patient and staff questions and problems.
• Performs tasks in data entry, filling, shipping, call center, register, and inventory management.
