Job summary

PACE Pharmacy in Massachusetts is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and delivering excellent patient service.

You will verify prescriptions, manage refills, perform inventory tasks, and communicate with prescribers and insurers to ensure timely medication access.

Applicants must be a MA-licensed Pharmacy Technician with an active license, strong attention to detail, and prior retail or institutional pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program or relevant experience.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in MA with active license without restrictions.
  • Not listed on the OIG Exclusion List (LEIE).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and on time.
  • Collect, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient information.
  • Perform inventory control and maintain pharmacy records.
  • Communicate with prescribers, pharmacies, staff and insurers to manage refills and requests.
  • Field calls regarding medication refills and inquiries.
