Total Dose is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and help receive and fill prescriptions from hospitals, physicians, nurses, and patients under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

You will count, pour, measure, and weigh tablets, price and file prescriptions, and maintain patient profiles while staying compliant with pharmacy regulations. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Lifting up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and fill prescription requests from hospitals, physicians, nurses or patients.
• Count, pour, measure and weigh tablets and medications.
• Prepare prescriptions and labels; ensure accuracy before pharmacist checks.
• Process third party claims.
• Maintain patient profiles; answer phones; assist with inventory.
