Qualifications

• Customer interaction skills for assisting patients and handling inquiries
• Experience with data entry, prescription processing, and order processing within regulatory limits
• High attention to accuracy in input, labeling, calculations, and record management
• Strong organization and time management to handle multiple tasks and maintain workflow
• Familiarity with prescription terminology, dosage forms and product recognition
• Effective verbal and written communication, including phone interactions with patients and providers
• Awareness of HIPAA and federal/state pharmacy laws
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment
• Comfort standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions, enter data, and assist with medication preparation under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace organized and compliant
• Handle prescription workflows and assist with daily operations in a regulated setting
• Respond to patient and provider questions and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and pharmacy regulations and maintain accuracy in all tasks
