Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist with prescription processing, data entry, and medication preparation under a pharmacist's supervision. You will interact with patients, answer questions, and direct clinical inquiries as needed.

You will also help maintain records, restock supplies, and ensure a clean, compliant workspace in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on location requirements.
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure where applicable.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and assist with data entry and medication preparation.
• Maintain records, restock supplies and keep workspace clean.
• Direct clinical questions to the supervising pharmacist and handle patient interactions.
• Support daily operations while following federal and state regulations.
• Maintain compliance standards and accurate labeling, calculations, and documentation.
