Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications under supervision, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle customer questions, manage records, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness and organization, with strong HIPAA adherence and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older where required by state law.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems.
• Completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare medications and assist with order processing within regulatory limits.
• Assist customers with questions, transactions, and directing clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean and compliant.
