Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will fill/label medications, refill Pyxis, deliver to patient care areas, and assist with IV admixtures while maintaining stock and proper storage.

Proficiency in basic computer skills is required; hospital experience is preferred, and PTCB/ICPT certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Hospital experience preferred, PTCB or ICPT Certification preferred.

These duties include but are not limited to: filling and labeling medications, refilling Pyxis, delivering medications to patient care areas, preparing IV admixture solutions, answering the telephone and directing the call to the appropriate staff. Proficient in basic computer skills and appropriately uses information systems, technology and automation to complete assigned task.
