Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. If PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians in system operation.
• Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and answering questions.

Additional duties:

• Assisting in pharmacy operations such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
• Supporting the pharmacy team in community outreach and relationship building with healthcare providers.

Training & Personal Development:

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program and acquiring continuing education credits.
• Attending training sessions and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
• Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience.
• Good math and computer skills are preferred, along with knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.
