Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice, following state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers, resolving issues, and developing relationships.

Additional Duties

• Perform pharmacy tasks such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and supporting workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims.
• Support inventory management and clinical services as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification, with opportunities for promotion.
• Attend training and continuing education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy practices.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
