Whether new or experienced, Walgreens will train you to serve and care for our patients and customers. Our training includes courses, activities, and resources to develop your foundational and advanced knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experience to become a certified pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists under supervision in pharmacy practice, complying with regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service, greeting customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships.

Operations

• Support pharmacy activities such as entering data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting with inventory management.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to dispensing policies.
• Handle cash register operations and assist with clerical duties.
• Support clinical services and maintain a clean, stocked pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification, attend training, and stay updated on healthcare developments.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer candidates with retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
