Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
  • Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Customer Experience
  • Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Sharing customer service best practices and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.
Operations
  • Supporting pharmacy operations, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
  • Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to company policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
  • Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
  • Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Building relationships with healthcare providers and supporting clinical and outreach activities.
Training & Personal Development
  • Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and earning continuing education credits.
  • Attending requested training and staying updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
