Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with coaching pharmacy technicians and cashiers if PTCB certified.
• Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience through engagement, assistance, and relationship building.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure satisfaction.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy activities such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing inventory under supervision.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to quality and safety policies.
• Handling sales transactions, assisting with inventory management, and supporting clinical services as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Participating in training sessions to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking), except in Puerto Rico.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of retail experience.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification are advantageous.
