Whether new or experienced, Walgreens will train you to serve and care for patients and customers. The training includes courses, activities, and resources to prepare you for certification and a successful pharmacy technician career.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, complying with regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service, engaging customers and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.

Additional Duties

• Perform pharmacy duties such as entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Support inventory management, clinical services, and community outreach as needed.
• Maintain a neat and stocked pharmacy environment, adhere to policies, and complete assigned tasks.

Training & Development

• Maintain PTCB certification and participate in ongoing training and education.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer candidates with retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
