Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist under direct supervision in practicing pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and coaching other technicians if certified.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engaging customers and patients, greeting them, and offering assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy operations under supervision, including entering patient and drug data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales, cash register operations, and assisting customers in locating products.
• Processing third-party claims and supporting inventory management activities.
• Assisting with clinical services and maintaining good relationships with healthcare providers.
• Supporting pharmacy maintenance, supplies, and cleanliness.
• Complying with all policies and maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification, with promotion contingent upon certification.
• Attending training sessions and acquiring continuing education credits to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
