Job summary

Commonwealth Health’s Wilkes-Barre General Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Technician I for per diem shifts (8 hrs/week). Under supervision, the technician assists pharmacists and supports pharmaceutical care for patients in our hospital.

The position emphasizes accurate communication, careful documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting. On-the-job training is provided to build necessary competency.

Qualifications

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, Pharmacy Supervisors, Technician Supervisor, or Registered Pharmacist in charge, the Pharmacy Technician I assists in providing pharmaceutical care to all patients.

Position Qualifications
