Responsibilities

• Verify prescription refill requests and ensure authorization based on refills remaining and time requirements.
• Type prescription labels with patient name, physician, medication, strength and instructions.
• Select medications, count/pour doses, affix labels and ensure proper storage.
• Balance daily revenue and reconcile cash/receipts; prepare bank deposits as needed.
• Assist supervisor in coordinating Pharmacy Clerks and ensuring efficient patient service.
• Perform Pharmacy Clerk responsibilities as required.
