Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Assist pharmacists by counting/pouring medications, labeling, and pricing prescriptions.
• Ensure customers receive all prescriptions and file prescription forms.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms.
• Maintain organized filing for invoices, claims, and reports.
• Help customers find over-the-counter items.
• Maintain understanding of the Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual.
• Order, stock, maintain, and return pharmacy inventory.
• Process pharmacy outdates and credits; keep inventory current.
• Prepare pharmaceutical products for inventory and maintain cleanliness.
