Job summary

CVS Health in Kaplan, LA is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team, ensure accurate dispensing, and deliver compassionate service.

You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and vaccine-related tasks where allowed, and handle inventory under supervision. This role requires licensure/certification as applicable and a high school diploma; 15 hours weekly with benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum education, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and support immunization activities where allowed.
• Assist with inventory activities and maintain patient records under supervision.
• Engage with patients and team, embracing feedback and a growth mindset.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
