Job summary

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If minimum age is not addressed by state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If minimum educational requirement is not addressed by state board, candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in high school/equivalency.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentration and focus to complete tasks accurately.
• Customer service and teamwork to assist patients and colleagues.
• Clear communication with patients and pharmacy staff.
• Mathematical reasoning for dispensing calculations.
• Problem resolution and escalation when needed.
• Physical demands including standing, lifting up to 20 lbs, and manual tasks.
