Job summary
VytlOne National Pharmacy Services is seeking a compassionate Pharmacy Technician for the North Star Pharmacy in Springfield, VT. This full-time position supports pharmacists, handles prescription orders, and delivers empathetic customer service.
Required: current PTCB certification or ability to obtain within 6 months, VT pharmacy technician license, minimum 2 years retail pharmacy experience, strong computer and software proficiency, and excellent communication skills. Vaccines are required.
Qualifications
- PTCB certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Active VT pharmacy technician license.
- Minimum 2 years retail pharmacy experience.
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service.
- Computer experience mandatory.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Proficient in pharmacy software/equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in providing pharmacy services.
- Greet customers and take prescription orders.
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers.
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked.
- Answer the phone.
- Input customer information into the computer system.
