Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing medications.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and maintain accurate patient data.
• Assist with cash handling, POS transactions and customer guidance to OTC products.
• Support inventory management, stocking and receiving shipments.
• Coordinate with health care providers and maintain patient relationships.
• Adhere to all company policies, codes of conduct and quality procedures.
