Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and assist pharmacists in providing patient care in a compliant, safe environment. You will perform reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing tasks while upholding HIPAA standards and company policies.

The role includes staying current with state licensure, supporting non-dispensing services, and contributing to a safe, clean, and customer-focused store environment in Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives and provide patient interventions as allowed by law.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities excluding professional judgment.
• Provide a stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow company policies.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings where allowed.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed.
