Job summary

Fred Meyer, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Kroger family in Washington. You will assist the pharmacist, perform reception and data entry, and help dispense medications while delivering a superior customer experience.

You will adhere to HIPAA regulations, participate in CLIA-waived screenings where allowed, and support clerks and technicians in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. 18+ and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure.
• Adherence to HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately performing reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing.
• Support coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with state and federal law and company policies.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Comply with sanitation, safety regulations and health code requirements; report unsafe conditions.
