Job summary

City Market is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and provide exceptional customer service. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry and dispensing steps while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

The role requires current registration or licensure as applicable by state law and ongoing adherence to safety guidelines. You will help train clerks and technicians, perform CLIA-waived screenings where allowed, and participate in a broad range

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license as required.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require pharmacist judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing.
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings as permitted by law and company policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
