Job summary

City Market is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in Colorado. You will provide friendly, compliant customer service, process prescriptions, and assist with data entry, adjudication and dispensing within state and federal laws.

Responsibilities include HIPAA compliance, supporting CLIA‑waived screenings, and ongoing training of clerks and technicians. A valid licensure/registration and a High School diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• Must have national registration, certification or licensure.
• 18 years of age or older; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all duties not requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing.
• Support non-dispensing services and CLIA‑waived screenings per regulations.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines and company policies.
• Coordinate and train clerks/technicians and support coaching.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post‑fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Adhere to HIPAA and store policies while handling patient information.
