Job summary

King Soopers in Colorado is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions, assist pharmacists, and support health and wellness initiatives in a busy retail setting.

You will follow HIPAA regulations, maintain inventory, process prescriptions and payments accurately, and contribute to a safe, clean environment while upholding Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity and diversity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
• Any previous comparable experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and customer waiting areas; assist with inventory.
• Understand and follow guidelines on ordering and inventory management for medications and supplies.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities and provide customer care within allowed scope.
• Provide a stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, and transactions.
