Job summary

King Soopers, part of The Kroger Co., is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives in-store. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry and dispensing steps, and ensure a safe, compliant patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure
• Any previous comparable experience
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain required state registrations or licenses
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing
• Coach and train clerks/technicians
• Compound medications according to state regulations
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data
• Support non-dispensing services via platforms and apps
• Complete CLIA‑waived screenings as allowed by law
• Provide additional health and wellness services as permitted
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
• Report illegal activity per laws
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
