Job summary

The role involves completing required training, maintaining state licensure requirements, and contributing to a safe, efficient pharmacy operation with opportunities to assist with immunizations where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice.
• If state board has no minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalent program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Ensure accuracy of prescription information and labeling for patient safety.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist the pharmacy team.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues; demonstrate active listening.
• Support inventory tasks, processing deliveries, and basic cycle counts as directed.
